Have you always been into sport?
Yes, cycling is my favourite sport and I have been doing it since I was a child.
What's been your favourite race to date?
My favorite race, although not the most important, is the one I won last summer in my city. It was very exciting to win in front of my whole family and all my friends and it has left me with great memories.
And your proudest achievement?
Winning a race in my home town. I was truly proud to make all my loved ones happy.
Have you ever had any racing disasters/your toughest race yet?
The toughest race I've ever done was definitely the "Tour of Cameroon". It's a multi-stage race in Cameroon and I participated in the semi-professional category 10 years ago. It was really tough, especially as it was so hot!
How do you overcome setbacks?
I don't dwell on them too much. They happen, and the important thing is to believe in yourself and focus immediately on the next goal.
What advice do you wish you'd been given before you started competing?
You always compete to win, but if you really gave your best and didn't win, you can still be satisfied.
What are your goals for 2020?
My goal for 2020 is to win a few races like last year. It won't be easy because I have limited time to train.
Who do you take inspiration from?
My hero is definitely Marco Pantani, the last true champion of cycling.
What do you like about Sundried and what's your favourite bit of our kit?
What I like most about Sundried is that it is a sustainable brand. Attention to reduction of waste and helping to save the environment from plastic pollution is very important. My favorite item in the Sundried collection is the ultra high visibility cycling jacket, it's beautiful and really useful as it is important to be seen well on the road by cars.
