Have you always been into sport?
Yes, I've been into sport from a young age, initially being a horse rider. I then moved on to triathlon in which I found my passion.
How did you first get into triathlon?
I decided to enter the world of triathlon when my mum raced at an ETU championships and I instantly got inspired.
What's been your favourite race to date?
My favourite race to date was Cardiff Sprint Distance Triathlon as I qualified for the World Championships in Edmonton. It was mainly an adults race which is why it's one of my proudest achievements.
Have you ever had any racing disasters/your toughest race yet?
Yes, when I got disqualified from a race. I had a really good race but things do go wrong in races and at the end I knew something had gone wrong. You just have to learn from mistakes and carry on.
How do you overcome setbacks?
The way I always overcome setbacks is by turning them into a positive.
What advice do you wish you'd been given when you first started competing?
The advice I wish I was given is that once you start you will never want to stop, triathlon takes over your life so you have to love it.
What are your goals for 2020?
My goals for 2020 are racing well at the World Championships and qualifying for another championship race.
Who do you take inspiration from?
I take my inspiration from Jessica Learmonth. I love watching her race as she is an amazing athlete and I really look up to her.
What do you like about Sundried and what's your favourite bit of kit?
My favourite part of Sundried is the eco-friendly material they use and that they dry very quickly which makes them perfect for everyday use. My favourite bit of kit has to be the performance trisuit as I love the design.
